The White Mountains region is a four-season adventure playground with over 1,000 miles of hiking trails, fishing, biking, horseback riding, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and the scenic Kancamagus Highway drive. Once home to the legendary Old Man of the Mountain and Robert Frost’s former summer home, the area boasts five performing arts venues, two museums, and a number of well-known festivals.
